That being said, the expenses are driven upwards by the high cost of living in cities like Oslo and Bergen. Premium accommodations and quality dining make Norway’s natural wonders a costly affair.

What Italy offers, its mix of history, art, and food, inevitably has a corresponding price.

Due to the country’s high standard of living and focus on sustainable, quality tourist experiences certainly come with a premium price for visitors.

The United Kingdom, tied for sixth place at around €165 each day, belongs also among the most expensive tourist destinations. It attracts many with its history and cities like London. Costly accommodation in London, along with expenses for food, using public transport, and seeing famous places like the Tower of London or shows in the West End, make the UK an expensive place to visit.
